Coach Chris Crump, Varsity/JV Boys’ Head Coach, returns to Huntsville High for his second year as the head coach of the boys soccer program.
(Overall record, 12-7-1). He began his soccer career at the age of 6, playing in the Kansas City area. He played on several state championship teams at U12 and U14 and participated in one USYSA Region I Tournament.
He played for SQ Quelle TV Furth 1860 and Nurnberg DOD High School during his U15-U18 soccer career; playing in tournaments in Holland, Denmark, France, Spain and Belgium during that timeframe. Coach Crump is one of the few coaches in North Alabama that holds a USSF Youth National License that focuses on player development from U5-U12. He revitalized the Huntsville High girls soccer program in 1992, in partnership with Mike Moran. When he left Huntsville High in 1997, he had earned one 6A State Finalist trophy and a Huntsville Times "Coach of the Year" honor.
Chris has been married to Michele for 16 years and they have two daughters, Katherine and Morgan.
Coach Norbert Webley
Coach Norbert Webley, Varsity/JV Boys’ Assistant Coach, has loved playing soccer the majority of his life. He began his career in Jamaica at the Real Mona Soccer Club in 1991 playing for the U12 team. As the lead goal scorer, he continued his career with Real Mona for the U14 and U16 teams, earning MVP honors. In 1996 Norbert moved to the next level, being chosen for the Jamaican U17 National Team and continued two more years with the U20 National Team.
Coach Webley was recruited in 1999 to the Alabama A & M University soccer team and began studies in Electrical Engineering. Norbert continues to play soccer in the Huntsville Soccer League for Darby Futbol Club. He was awarded the title of league MVP 2002-2004 and played on the Alabama Men’s Select Team in 2004.
Norbert has coached both boys and girls teams from U9-U15 in Jamaica and here in Huntsville, most recently taking the Kicks U9 girls and the Kicks U11 boys to the State Cup Finals. He holds a U.S. National
Coaching ’D license.
Coach Lee Farless is an Assistant Coach on both the Boys Varsity and Boys Junior Varsity teams.
